Sunnybank Farm

Sunnybank Farm is a small family farm in Rhiwderin, Newport — you might recognise us from the stall outside the Rhiwderin Inn last year. We sell fresh, locally and British-sourced fruit and veg all year round, with seasonal highlights like pumpkins at Halloween and Christmas trees in December. Everything is chosen with low food miles and quality in mind, supporting British growers and keeping things as close to home as possible.
Back on the farm, we raise rare and native breeds with care — Southdown sheep, Saanen and Anglo-Nubian goats, and a characterful flock of heritage poultry including Sussex Pont hens and Rhondda Blues. These aren't just livestock; they're part of what makes Sunnybank what it is: a working farm with a genuine connection to the land, the animals, and the community around it.
