Who we are

Graig Connect is a community directory for the Graig area, operated by Collabify Ltd. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@collabify.net.

What data we collect

When you log in with Facebook, we receive and store the following information from your Facebook profile:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile photo
• Your Facebook user ID

We also check whether you are a member of the Graig Connect Facebook group in order to determine what you can do on the site.

If you post a listing, we store the content you provide (business or job details, location, images, opening hours) along with a record of when it was posted.

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account on Graig Connect
• To display your name alongside listings and recommendations you post
• To allow moderators and admins to manage the directory
• To contact you about your listings if necessary

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for advertising.

Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, operating a community directory that requires user accounts to prevent abuse and attribute content. Where you actively post content, processing is also based on contract (fulfilling the service you have requested).

Who can see your data

• Your name and profile photo are shown publicly next to any listings or recommendations you post
• Your email address is visible only to site administrators
• Site administrators and moderators can see your account details and listing history

How long we keep your data

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Listings you have posted may be retained in anonymised form for the benefit of the community directory, or deleted at your request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@collabify.net and we will respond within 30 days.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@collabify.net. Facebook also provides a way to remove app access from your Facebook account settings.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie contains no personal information — it is a reference to your session stored on our server. It expires after one year or when you log out.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Graig Connect after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
